MISO

WHAT IS MISO?

Miso is a traditional Japanese condiment made from soybeans, rice, and salt. It is commonly used to season foods at the end of cooking, adding depth and flavor to dishes.

Miso comes in two main varieties: red miso (Aka) and white miso (Shiro).

White miso (Shiro) has a slightly sweeter taste and is more versatile, suitable for a wide range of dishes.

Red miso (Aka), on the other hand, is aged longer, giving it a more intense, rich, and full-bodied flavor.

Red miso pairs particularly well with strong-flavored foods, especially in meat marinades and grilled meats.

Both types of miso provide a unique savory flavor known as "Umami," the fifth taste, which enhances the overall taste experience of any dish.

We offer exclusive importation of both red and white miso in Italy and provide them in bulk quantities for wholesale distribution.
